MILLING - High Performance Machine (HPM)

In contrast to HSM, this technology is used for machining 2-D geometries. The cutting depth AP and the stepover AP along with the machining feed allow calculation of the material removal per unit of time (cm3/min). This process is suitable when it comes to the removal of large volumes or difficult to cut materials.

EDM - Die Sinking

EDM can be used to machine conductive materials of any hardness (for  example steel or titanium) to an accuracy of up to one-thousandth of a  millimeter with no mechanical action. By virtue of these properties, EDM  is one of the key technologies in mold and tool making.

EDM - Wire Cut

Wire EDM machine uses a metallic wire (electrode) to cut a programmed  contour in a work-piece. Extrusion dies and blanking punches are very  often machined by wire cutting. In the machining area, each discharge  creates a crater in the workpiece (material removal) and an impact on the tool.
